This desk is awesome! Originally bought for my office at work. Am highly considering getting another for my office at home. Technically it is not one "solid" piece of wood but instead maybe 5 or 6 glued together but you really cannot tell without really looking at it. The natural wave on the edges helps give to the overall look of one "solid" piece of wood. The construction was simple and very quick. The product overall feel very durable and stout. Would definitely purchase again and am thinking about getting one for my home office as stated above.
