Perfect for the price!
I ordered my ivory queen size headboard on April 19, and it arrived via FedEx on April 25, right at the start of their delivery window. I have to give two thumbs up for that timing! The box came in great shape, and so did the headboard itself along with the detached legs and hardware. I think the box weighed around 36 lbs, so it was light enough for me to bring upstairs without too much trouble. Attaching the legs was super simple, and I chose not to secure it to my bed frame since it fits well between the frame and the wall. To stop it from hitting the wall when I’m getting in bed, I just added some soft adhesive bumpers to the legs, which you can find by the picture hanging supplies in any store. The headboard stands 29 inches off the floor, and there’s still one more hole on the legs if you need an extra inch for a taller bed. The color is a lovely creamy ivory, and there’s no smell. It has completely transformed the look of my room, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. You would never guess how affordable it was just by looking at it. I was eyeing headboards at local furniture stores, and I could've bought three of these for the price of one from them! Plus, Hawkins Woodshop gets them delivered right to your door without a charge.
