Sturdy and a great alternative to a standing desk
I have a standing desk at my office and really wanted one for home too, since sitting all the time isn't great for you. Putting this together was a breeze—just a couple screws for the keyboard tray. It’s easy to adjust the height too; I can do it with one hand without any trouble. There’s hardly any wobble when I'm typing, and it feels solid. The only small issue I found is that it raises the keyboard higher than I'm used to, so I had to adjust my chair to keep it comfy. I used to have a tray that went under the desk, and now it sits about an inch above it. Not a huge deal, just a couple tweaks and I'm all set. I’d recommend this if you're looking to stand up a bit more while working!

Excellent value for a great desk converter
This desk converter is really well made and took me just about 5 minutes to put together. I love that it raises to 20 inches; many others only go to 16 inches, and that extra height makes a big difference. The gas lift works smoothly, and I can set it at any height within that range. When it's fully lowered, it only lifts the desktop by about an inch and a half, so it’s easy to use. One thing to think about is where to put your chair when you're standing. I usually stand for two hours and sit for one, so I can't just ditch my chair. It's a bit awkward having the chair right behind you, but thankfully I have enough space to move it a bit further away. Overall, this desk converter is a great deal for a solid product.
