It does take some time to assemble since there are quite a few pieces, but it wasn't too difficult. This feels like a step up in quality compared to a cheaper cabinet I had before. The hinges need a bit of adjusting to get right, but they are sturdy. My other cabinet just screws into the wood and feels pretty basic. I've included a pic of a cheap bench seat for comparison. For those who mention door misalignment, just take your time tweaking them like the instructions say. This cabinet holds around 8 pairs of size 8 women's boots if you stagger the soles, and I’m really happy with it.
