Perfect hammock!
I just received this on 4/4/25, and I had to share my thoughts right away. I was a bit hesitant due to mixed reviews, especially since I was deciding between this one and two others that had similar ratings. I had previously purchased a cotton woven hammock back in January that was super comfy but fell apart after just three months. I used it indoors while hammock sleeping full-time and even had a merino sleeping bag liner to help protect it. I reached out to that company for help, but they never got back to me. Then I tried a different woven hammock with thicker cotton rope, but it was too stiff and had a musty smell, so I returned it. I was hoping this Sunnydaze hammock would be the one! I've been hammock sleeping comfortably for over a year, and after spending hours reading reviews and comparing measurements, I found this one to be exactly what I needed. The rope thickness is, and it has the same comfort as my first hammock that I lost. Last night’s sleep was! I'm thrilled with this Goldilocks find, and I’m considering getting a warranty just in case. The arms look like they may not be nylon, which is fine by me since I prefer all cotton anyway for comfort. If this Sunnydaze hammock doesn't hold up within the year, I’ll update my review with any feedback from customer support.

Best Hammock I've Tried!
I really love this hammock! I've been sleeping in hammocks for over 6 years because of an injury that makes it hard for me to lay flat—I need my head elevated. Plus, I’ve read some interesting studies about how gentle rocking can help with sleep and brain health. I've tried different kinds of hammocks—rip-stop nylon, canvas, and various woven ones. Each type has its pros and cons. Whole cloth hammocks are great for support and durability, but they can get stiff and uncomfortable when you put weight on them. On the other hand, woven hammocks can be made with either thick or thin cords. The thick cords aren’t comfortable, but the thinner ones can be nice because they distribute weight well, preventing hard spots. The downside with cordage, though, is that while the hammock can hold a lot of weight, the individual strands can tear easily. I accidentally caught my watch on one and it ended up ruining the whole hammock. It’s less of a concern indoors, but if you’re hanging this outside near bushes or other hazards, a gust of wind might snag it and cause damage. This hammock is the most comfortable one I've slept in, but I take care to keep it away from anything that could rip a strand.

Perfect Size
Just what I needed! After spending a few years in Yucatán, I had to find a replacement for my hammock, and this one is perfect. It's big enough for me to lay sideways comfortably, and I sleep like a dream in it.
