Beautiful frame! NIce dark brown wood color. Feels solid. Easy to put together even with only one person. I like how the velcro keeps the slats in place. The slats are about 4" apart, making it just right for my new hybrid mattress. It also has the metal bars underneath for added stability. It is heavy, queen size about 81 lbs. But I managed it ok. I was happy with how it turned out and would recommend it to anyone.
