Teegan Solid Wood Wedge End Table with Shelf, Chocolate Oak

The wedge shape is the whole point. The top tapers from 8 inches across at the narrow end to 15 inches at the wide end, which is close to the exact geometry of the gap that opens beside a recliner when you lean it back, or between two chairs angled in toward a television. A square table cannot use that space. This one fills it and still puts a surface where your hand actually goes.

It is built from solid wood and finished in chocolate oak brown, a warm tone that lets the natural variation in the grain come through, so no two of these look quite identical. Overall the table measures 15 inches long, 24 inches wide, and 24 inches high.

Below the top there is a shelf. That is where the remote, the current book, a stack of coasters, or a magazine or two live, which keeps the top clear for a lamp and a drink. In a small living room or a bedroom where the floor space is already spoken for, getting two surfaces out of one footprint matters more than it would in a large room.

Placement is flexible. Beside a recliner is the obvious spot and the one it was drawn for. It also works at the end of a sofa, between a pair of armchairs, or in a bedroom corner where a full depth nightstand would block a closet door.

Assembly hardware and instructions ship in the box and setup is quick. The table is backed by a 1-year limited warranty and is listed under item number 10074-CH.
