I feel like I'm sleeping as if in a mother's embrace. The mattress fully expanded within about two days of unpacking, and I noticed only a light smell that went away pretty quickly. The mix of pocket coils and memory foam gives just the right balance of support and comfort. I mainly sleep on my side and back, and this mattress really helps relieve pressure on my shoulders and hips while still giving good support to my lower back. One thing that stood out is the motion isolation; my partner's movements hardly wake me up like they did with our old mattress. The edge support was also a pleasant surprise. The cooling feature is nice; it doesn’t feel chilly, but I’m not waking up hot like I used to on my old all-foam mattress. I got the 10 inch full-size mattress for my guest bed, replacing an old folding 6 inch one that was super uncomfortable. Thankfully, no one actually had to sleep on that one! I wouldn't say it's hard or soft; it's more like a medium soft, which feels nice when I lie down. I usually prefer softer mattresses, just to give you an idea. I think this will work great for guests. Inside the box, there’s a note suggesting to flip the mattress every three months, but since it's mainly for guests, I might just do it once every six months or so. I also put a 2 1/2 inch memory foam topper on it, which makes it feel like a soft marshmallow. The edges aren't firm, so they do sink a bit when sitting, but overall, I’m happy with this buy.
