Most doormats fail for the same reason. They are too thick. The door catches the edge, you shove it, the mat bunches into a ridge, and eventually you kick it aside and stop using it. This one is built the other way. The construction is ultra thin and low profile, sitting close to flush with the floor, so a door with tight clearance sweeps over it and keeps doing so every time.
At 24 by 36 inches it covers a standard entry with room for both feet and a second step, which is what actually gets a floor clean. One wipe does very little.
