I know these look a bit odd, but they've proven to work really well. I drilled them into my desk using some different screws than what came with them and even used 12 screws on each mount instead of 8 for extra strength. I'm happy with the extra space I'm getting on my desk now. If you're worried about how secure they are compared to a traditional mount, I get it. But the straps are solid, and I don’t think they’re going anywhere. The setup uses 8 screws, while a typical mount only has 6. I’ve put pressure on it, and it hasn’t budged at all. I think maybe some of the negative reviews are from folks who set the straps up wrong.

I've tried a few under-desk mounts, but they were too small for my large gaming PC. So, I decided to give this one a shot. At first, I was quite nervous about using just brackets and straps for my pricey setup! But once I got everything installed, I was really impressed with how sturdy it was. I even placed a blanket underneath for a couple of days just in case, but I didn't need to worry. I opted for longer screws since my PC is heavy, but the ones that came with it looked fine. I also got some different adjustable straps out of caution, but the included ones are solid. The installation was simple, using 8 screws total to secure everything, which made me feel better about it holding the weight. The brackets are thick metal, so I have no concerns there. Now that my PC is off the floor and mounted under my desk, it's not going anywhere. Everything is secure, and there's hardly any movement. I'm confident that my PC is safe now. This was a choice for mounting a larger full-size tower.

Great for mini-itx cases: Coolermaster NR200
Works great on the NR200. There are a few tips I recommend to get the most out of this under-desk mount:1: The foam blocks should be mounted on the metal brackets so the machine isn't directly in contact with the desk (don't mount them on your case).2: Adjust the straps to the desired lengths before mounting. Adjusting the plastic clasps is pretty much impossible after mounting3: If possible, set up the braces with your desk-top removed from the desk legs first as working upside down is a major hassle and bad for your neck. I've seen some comments that the straps arent robust enough, this might be the case for large cases with heavy components but I have had no issues with the NR200, which is a larger size mini-itx case. Very happy with the product, especially for the price. I've pictured my case mounted (pardon the cables, they have not been cable managed yet)
