I wanted to upgrade my bedroom TV from a 32" to something bigger, but my dresser could only hold so much weight. I got this stand to put behind the dresser, creating the look of a wall-mounted TV without actually mounting it. Assembling it was a breeze, and now my new 40" TV sits nicely above the dresser without blocking anything. The dresser mostly covers the stand, but I think it would still look good on its own if needed. It doesn’t give the appearance of being wall-mounted, but I’m happy with how it turned out.
