Sturdy. Should last many years
I was having trouble mounting my Boston Micro 130x speakers since they lack the mounting holes and my Sanus stands weren’t working out. So I decided to try these Perlesmith stands instead, and they’ve been great at holding my speakers steady. They feel sturdy enough that I shouldn't have any problems with them tipping over. I'm planning to drill a larger hole in the weights from the Sanus stands and place them on top of these to add some extra stability. One thing I think could be improved is the tightening screws, as they only work well for flat, boxy speakers. My Boston speakers have a tapered side, so the fasteners only grip a small portion of that. However, I appreciated the double-sided felt tape included, which helped secure the speakers better. A tip I’d share is to feed the speaker wire through the stands before putting the speakers on and while the poles are still disassembled. I found it easy to run my 14-gauge wire this way without any issues by keeping everything loose. Assembly was simple and quick, thanks to clear instructions, and I like that the base has adjustable mounts for uneven floors.

Great Budget Speaker Stands
I was looking for taller speaker stands to clear the sectional sofa in my living room, and these from Hawkins Woodshop were the only ones that fit the bill. Even though they have an 11lb weight limit (my Klipsch speakers are 13.5lbs each), I figured I’d give them a go. They’ve worked out really well for me! Assembly was quick and simple, no issues with the quality. The speaker clamps aren’t perfectly even, but it’s not a deal-breaker for me. I do think clamps are essential to keep the speakers from accidentally falling. I made sure the height locking ring was tight to avoid any accidental collapses and added a safety strap like I have on my big TV to prevent any tips. Overall, these stands are decent for the price, just keep their weight and tipping limitations in mind.

Looks great and sturdy!
I really like these stands! The tempered glass is thick, which makes it easier to clean than MDF. The bigger floor and speaker bases keep my larger bookshelf speakers steady, and they fit well. Putting them together was simple, and all the pieces were included. I appreciate the bigger floor spikes that don’t dig too deep into the carpet. I do have a couple of minor issues, though. If I need to move the stands or switch out the cables, I might have to take it apart to get the thicker banana plug cables through the holes. I ran the cables through the tubes before putting them together, which worked well. One thing to note is the middle support rod connects with a nut that might catch on the plugs if you push them through. Not a big deal for thinner cables, but something to think about. Also, the cable management holes could use some smoothing, as they might scrape the cables if pulled too hard. Lastly, there’s no guide for lining up the top and bottom plates perfectly. But overall, I'm satisfied with these! They do the job and look good in the room!

Great Speaker Stands, Easy Setup
I really like these speaker stands! They feel decent quality and are sturdy enough for my heavier Klipsch speakers. They came with everything needed for assembly and I appreciate the rubber pads for the floor, plus there's hardware included for setting them up on carpet. I was able to put each stand together in about five minutes, and the included wrenches were a nice touch, so I didn't have to search for my own tools. The height is just right for my home theater, making for great sound at ear level. You won’t be disappointed!

This is a budget-friendly product that was simple to put together and feels sturdy. It definitely does what it’s supposed to do. I have a couple of small notes, though. The tube for hiding the speaker cables might be a bit tight or not flexible for thicker cables. Personally, I’m okay with the cables showing from the back of the speakers. Another thing to consider is the weight of your speakers, especially if you have heavier bookshelf ones, since the base isn’t heavy. I think a better design for the base would help, as it feels a bit plain. Overall, it looks decent for the price.

Good Budget Speaker Stands
I was looking for taller speaker stands for my surround sound setup to fit above my sectional sofa. I found these from Hawkins Woodshop and they were the only ones tall enough. Even though my Klipsch speakers are a bit heavier than the 11lb limit, I decided to give these a shot. They worked out great for me. The assembly was quick and easy, and I didn’t have any issues with the quality. The speaker clamps could be better, but it's not a dealbreaker for me since I think clamps are important to keep the speakers secure. I made sure to tighten the height locking ring well to avoid any falls, and I also attached a safety strap like I use on my big TV to keep things safe from accidental bumps. Overall, these stands are basic but do the job well as long as you're aware of their weight limits.
