Great replacement at an affordable price
I had a TV that used to be mounted on the wall, but when I moved it to another room, I didn’t have the original base. So, I started looking for a replacement that would give me a little height to prevent overheating. A friend of mine usually hangs his TVs and his last about 5 to 8 years. When my order from Hawkins Woodshop arrived, it was in a small box with a manual and various screws and accessories. I was a bit unsure at first because there seemed to be a lot of parts. But after following the instructions, I found out that not all the screws were necessary since it’s a universal stand. The tiny ratchet and L key included were super handy for putting it together. Plus, the 4 sticky pads for the bottom of the legs were a nice touch to prevent scratches when moving it around. The materials feel solid and the height adjustment option is, especially since the original stand wouldn't have fit. It took me around 15 minutes to assemble everything. The only downside is that it feels a bit wobbly when pushed side to side. I wish it came with a wire for wall attachment for extra support. Overall, I’m happy with my decision, especially for the price. I'd give it a 9/10.
