Great for renters & easy to set up on my own
This upholstered headboard has been a fantastic addition to my room! It's for renters like me because I can elevate the space without any permanent changes. Great Headboard
I checked out a bunch of reviews before making this purchase, even the not-so-great ones. Honestly, I'm really happy with this headboard for what I paid. After letting it fully expand, it’s sturdy enough to mount to the wall without any issues. The adhesive on the Velcro is pretty strong, but that’s exactly what you need to keep it in place. I was considering using a thin piece of plywood for extra support, but I didn’t end up needing it. I highly recommend this headboard. It works well and looks nice.

I read several reviews for this product before buying, including the negative ones. My experience is that it is an brilliant headboard for the price. Once given time to fully expand, it is quite inflexible enough to be mounted to a wall with ease. Yes, the adhesive on the Velcro is strong, but that is what is needed to hold the headboard securely. If I was worried about the Velcro peeling paint or wall covering, I intended to attach a thin plywood/mdf sub-board with screws to the wall. I did not need to do this in the end. I thoroughly recommend this headboard. It works well and looks great.
