My daughter got this for Christmas and I'm honestly a little jealous. The storage compartments are really handy and she loves having all those spots to keep stuff organized. The only annoying part was getting the lights hooked up at first—took some fiddling. Size-wise though, it's for a younger kid.

The chair that comes with it though isn't great - it's not comfortable and has no back support, so I'd recommend getting a different chair to go with it.

I would give this 5 stars even if they had missed some pieces. The instructions for this vanity were so easy to follow, I had no issues at all. They even included extra parts, which is great because I’m always the one that needs them! It did take me a bit since I was assembling it by myself while my puppy kept me company. It all came together beautifully and works perfectly. The only downside is the on-off switch plug; it does take up a lot of room, but I've found a better spot to plug it in. Seriously, those instructions were fantastic! I also loved how they packaged the screws separately instead of just throwing everything in one big bag. I wish more companies would take the time to do that!

I really love my new makeup station. I added my magnifying mirror so I can see better I’m 74 and this set up will make it much easier for me to apply makeup. This table and bench are sturdy and well made. They were securely packaged for shipment and the instructions were easy to follow. Every screw has a corresponding pre drilled hole so you know right away if you’re not matching parts correctly. It took me 4 hours to put it together but only because it is so well made.

We got this for our daughter for Christmas and it is exactly what we were looking for. Good size for a pre-teen or young teen, functional storage and a nice bright mirror and sturdy stool. She was thrilled with it. Unfortunately when we put the piece together we found that the mirror had a 10' long scratch down the middle. The scratch was on the back of the mirror (between the glass and the wood backing) so it happened in manufacture, not in shipping or packing. We contacted Hawkins Woodshop and at first they offered to refund us $20 as a discount on a scratched product. I asked that instead they send us a replacement mirror, gave them the part number (letter really) and sent them photos of the scratch and the part we needed. They quickly agreed to send a replacement and it arrived within a week. We have assembled the vanity with the replacement mirror and are very happy with it. This is not an expensive piece of furniture, but for the price we are very happy with it. It meets our needs perfectly!
