Amazing quality and ease of assembly. Made to last for years!
I hardly ever review anything, but the quality and thoughtfulness that goes into these products is so good i had to leave a review. This is the third of these desks that I have purchased in the past 5 years. I recently started working from home again and needed additional desk space. Without a doubt, these are the best adjustable desks I have ever used or purchased. I've bought others that are also powered, and some with non-powered adjustments, and the Vari Brand imo is the top of the line. The materials are so sturdy and well build, the instructions for assembly are clear, easy to follow, and you are done in minutes. The two I purchased in 2021 still look amazing and work perfectly. I set up my new desk and put it next to the one i've had, and they are so well calibrated that they are at the same height and I didn't have to do any adjustments. My first experience with Vari was at work when we were offered stand up desks; they were Vari brand, and so incredibly made and comfortable to use, I started purchasing them whenever an employee asked for one. Never had a complaint.

Beautiful well made desk
This review is for the desk and Vari customer service. First, the desk arrived quickly, and it was beautiful. Heavy and sturdy, well constructed, and pretty easy to put together. Raising and lowering the desk was very smooth, didn't disturb contents on top of the desk. The only issue was one of personal preference. My husband did not like that the desk tapered at the end, because he keeps his arms parallel to the floor when he types rather than rest them on the side of the desk. So, we had to deconstruct and pack everything for a return, which was a pretty easy process with Vari. They gave us the option of a FedEx pickup at our home, rather than having to take it to a FedEx store, which is great customer service because those boxes are heavy, as I said before. And the refund came after they received and inspected the package. Other than this one issue my husband was picky with, I would highly recommend the desk and the company.

Just What I Needed
I hesitiated to purchase because of the price; however, I did my research and decided to take a leap of faith. I needed a standing desk, and had wanted one for well over a year. I am very happy with my purchase! I bought the 60x30 one, and I love it. The desk top is spacious and easy to clean, the motor is relatively quiet and the up and down motion is smooth. I also like the fact that if there is an obstruction, the desk will course correct to avoid damage. The only hiccup is that the motor in the original shipment was defective, but Vari was extremely professional when I contacted them and replaced it very quickly without hesitiation. It is very heavy, but the assembly was very easy and I was able to do it without assistance. Moving it will be a challenge, so I hope I never have to.

Nice Desk, Excellent Customer Service
When I first received the desk we went to put it together and one of the legs was not fitting in to the slot. We finally realized it was because the main bar attached under the desktop was bent. I was pretty frustrated and wasn't sure how I was going to return the desktop because it was large and so heavy. So I contacted Hawkins Woodshop to let them know what happened and they contacted Vari for me to let them know to reach out to me. I was expecting to not hear from them for at least 2 business days, but to my surprise, they contacted me right away and even on a Saturday night. The representative from Vari asked if I could explain what the issue was and to send photos showing the damaged desktop. So I did and they again responded pretty quickly saying they would replace the desktop and they would also have FedEx pickup the damaged desktop. I was so relieved I didn't have to haul that big heavy box to the ups store to return it. So I just finished setting up the new desk. It is super nice. I'm very happy with it. I set 2 of the settings, one for standing position and one for sitting position. The desk is quite sturdy and the raising and lowering is smooth. I got the desktop with the reclaimed wood, it has a nice rustic look to it.
