Impressive power in a compact size!
I was really surprised by how small this mini computer is. It arrived neatly packaged with a power supply and an HDMI cable, plus options for mounting it wherever you want. With both a DisplayPort and HDMI port, I easily hooked it up to my monitor and my 42-inch TV, and it worked perfectly on both. This little unit is powerful—I’ve used it for web browsing, gaming, and even running applications for my 3D printers. I loaded an old version of Blender on it for 3D design, and it handled everything without a hitch. The fact that it sits tucked away under my monitor is a bonus. It boots up quickly and comes with Windows 11 Pro pre-installed. I ran a deep security scan, and it came back completely clean. Colby was great to deal with too; he called me back personally when I asked about upgrading the RAM, offering helpful suggestions. I now own both an Ace Magic laptop and this mini PC, and I couldn’t be happier with them. I highly recommend checking these out!

Small Size, Big Performance — A Surprisingly Good Deal!
This Mini PC from Hawkins Woodshop is a classic case of not judging by size. It's small, runs quietly, and honestly surprises you with how much it can handle for the price. The AMD Ryzen 4300U is great for everyday tasks—multiple tabs, Office use, light development, and even some simple design work all run without any issues. Not meant for gaming, but if you need it for productivity, streaming, or general office work, it's really solid. Booting up is quick, and Windows 11 Pro is set up right out of the box—no unnecessary bloatware to deal with. The 16GB RAM makes a difference when multitasking; it feels quick, unlike many lower-priced models. It stays cool and quiet, even when you push it a bit, making it a good fit for a home office or a setup behind a monitor. The ports are well thought out too, giving you plenty of options for dual monitors and other peripherals. It's a neat little workstation that doesn't take up much space. The only downsides might be the limited upgrade options and lack of high-end graphics, but that's not its purpose. Overall, if you're looking for a compact, reliable PC for work or casual creative tasks, this one exceeds expectations. Great performance and no fuss!

Perfect mini PC for my home lab server!
Just wanted to share my first impressions of this mini PC I got for my home media server. I was upgrading from an older model, so I was hopeful this would be an improvement. I was a bit anxious since it’s my first mini PC, and I'd read some mixed reviews about booting from USB, but no worries—it booted up just fine! When I first powered it on, I struggled a bit with accessing the BIOS, but I figured out that you have to be quick about it. Once I got in, I checked to see if Hyper-V was enabled (it was!) and set USB booting. Before I knew it, I'd installed Server 2022 Datacenter on it. It boots quickly, handles everything smoothly, and is super efficient with resources. I'm planning to use it as my Domain Controller, DNS, media server, VPN, and VM box, and I think it's going to manage all of that without a hitch. This thing is tiny and extremely quiet; you can hardly hear the fan! Great connectivity options, especially since I'll be using it headlessly. I did find it a bit surprising that it doesn't come with WiFi, but that’s not a dealbreaker for me since I wasn’t planning to use it that way. Honestly, I can’t think of any other issues. I chose the Intel version because I’ve read it performs better for video transcoding, especially with Plex. Overall, I'm pleased with this purchase!

This little unit is surprisingly powerful for its size and price. It handles web browsing, office tasks, and media really well, and even does light multitasking without a hitch. Just keep in mind it’s not built for heavy lifting—local AI tasks or serious multitasking are out of its league. The Ryzen 4300U, while decent as an entry-level 4-core chip, has some limits since it doesn’t support SMT. But with the 16GB of RAM and a good SSD, it offers a solid setup for a budget-friendly system.

Perfect for a home lab server!
I just got this little PC for my home media server, and I’m impressed! I was a bit hesitant because I’ve never owned a mini PC before, but it’s performing really well compared to my old unit from 2013. I came across some reviews suggesting it wouldn't boot from USB, but I can confirm that it does! After powering it on, it booted to Windows 11 quickly. I had to be quick to access the BIOS, but once I figured out the timing, I was good to go with enabling Hyper-V and USB booting. Before I knew it, I had installed Server 2022 Datacenter and it runs like a champ! It's tiny, quiet, and has great connectivity, making it ideal for a server setup. The only downside is that it doesn't come with Wi-Fi, which surprised me, but I wasn't planning to use it wirelessly anyway. Overall, I’m happy with this purchase and can't think of any major complaints!
