Electric Motor Desk
I recently got the vivo 42 Inch Electric Motor Desk, and I'm really happy with it. Sturdiness: The desk is sturdy and stable. Space: It offers enough room for my laptop, two monitors and a few other items without feeling cluttered. Ease of Lifting: The electric motor lifts smoothly and is really easy to use. Mobility: While I don’t move it around often, it’s lightweight enough to relocate if needed. Performance: It works great, transitioning smoothly between sitting and standing. Appearance: The design is sleek and modern, fitting perfectly in my workspace. Overall, it’s a great desk that I highly recommend!

Excellent value from a truly excellent company
The Vivo Electric Desk Converter is an excellent value. It's well-constructed, solid, sturdy, attractive, and functional. It goes up and down quickly, is rock-solid stable when down and very reasonably stable when up with just a minimal amount of jiggling if you really bang down on the keyboard, and has a very generous keyboard tray that sits firmly against the desk or tabletop when down. (The 1/2" particleboard plus the 1/4" rubber feet result in the keyboard surface being 3/4" above the desk or tabletop when fully down.)Most importantly, Vivo is an extraordinarily customer-focused company. Their pre- and post-sales support has proven to be beyond expectations and so far beyond the norm these days that they are a major outlier in a good way. Their phone and email support agents are singularly knowledgeable about their products and are both empowered and driven to help the customer. When I needed some technical measurements, they researched and got back to me promptly. When I had a part that wasn't working properly, they replaced it under the warranty without fuss or hassle. I can't say enough good about the company's front-line people and their overall business culture. The assembly instructions for the riser are somewhat ambiguous when it comes to mounting the keyboard tray, and comments here make it clear that they are sometimes misunderstood. First, the brackets wrap underneath the tray; one commenter here who wrote that his tray holes were drilled on the wrong side appears to have tried to connect the brackets to the top of the tray instead of the bottom. Second, the two brackets aren't identical: There's a left and a right. The brackets should angle away from the main surface (toward the typist), extending the tray a bit farther away from the main surface; if the keyboard hits the stand's base when fully lowered, then the brackets need to be reversed. The several commenters here who say there's a several-inch gap between the tray and the underlying desk or table when fully lowered appear to have gotten the left and right brackets switched. Because I have two wide monitors, I originally bought the 47.5" version, but I eventually settled on the 42" version. While the 47.5" version does give a few extra inches on each side of the main surface, the underlying hardware is the same size as the 42" version, meaning the far sides of the particleboard surface are farther away from the steel frame. When I put my monitors on the far ends, the particleboard started to sag. The heavy loads need to be placed above or inwards from the steel frame, so the extra few inches on the larger surface aren't really usable for placing monitors. Luckily, I found that the 42" version was plenty wide for my two monitors, and it saves a bit of real estate on my underlying desk. If you couple this stand with one of Vivo's excellent dual monitor stands, all the load goes through the center of the surface, where there's a perfectly placed grommet hole for the stand, solving the problem of unsupported weight on the far ends of the surface. It also looks great! So five huge stars for Vivo and their products!
