Great desk with a few quirks

I just got this desk and wanted to share my thoughts. First off, it feels really solid and the motor works quietly and quickly. My son can easily switch between sitting and standing with the memory buttons, which is great for his remote learning. The surface is scratch-resistant, but it does pick up fingerprints pretty easily. One thing I wish it had is one more height memory setting since two people using it would be better with four options. Now, about shipping—my desk arrived in two boxes, which I wasn’t expecting. The motorized part came a few days later than the top, but thankfully everything was packed well. Assembly wasn’t too complicated, but a couple of tips: make sure to adjust the width of the stand before tightening it down, and I had to skip those sticky pads meant to cushion the screws because they made it hard to get the screws in. Also, the control panel didn’t line up perfectly, so I had to improvise a bit. Overall, though, I’m happy with my purchase!

Awesome gaming table

This table is really great! Putting it together was pretty easy, plus there's a YouTube video if you prefer that over written instructions. The motor runs smooth and quietly, and there's enough space for everything, including my 38-inch ultra-wide monitor. It handles the weight just fine. I do have a couple of minor issues—the height might not work for everyone since the lowest setting is about 30 inches. Also, the seams on the tabletop don't align perfectly and can be a bit annoying when my wrists rest on them. Other than that, it’s a brilliant gaming table for long sessions. Plus, if you want to switch things up, just press a button and you can use it as a standing desk. I highly recommend it!

Assembled it pretty easily with a friend. Works well. I’m not sure why the table is split into three sections when you have to use them all. It makes the mouse stick between the two panels, but a mouse pad takes care of that. I'm really happy with the quality of the product.

I’m really happy with this table! It’s heavy, sturdy, and has plenty of space for my two large 34-inch monitors, MacBook, two keyboards, and a mouse. Adjusting the height is easy, and I didn’t notice any wobbling at all. The assembly was a bit challenging for me since I’m not the strongest, so having a buddy help out made it easier. It took me about two hours to get it set up. I mostly keep it at the highest setting while I work, and according to my Apple Watch, I’m burning about 253 extra calories since I started using it. I highly recommend this table for its size, sturdiness, and stability!

Sturdy and Easy to Set Up

My husband got this desk about a year back since we both work from home and need to stand up during the day. I recently tried his desk and decided I could use a mechanical desk too, so I picked the black one for myself. It’s a great size with enough space for my 34” ultra-wide monitor and MacBook Air, plus extra room on both sides for my supplies. I really like the digital settings to adjust the height, and it's handy that you can save 3 different levels. Highly recommend!

Fantastic desk overall

Setting it up was straightforward, though I did find the diagram a bit confusing at times. I had to put one piece back together after a couple of steps but overall, it was easy to put together. The desk is quite spacious, sturdy, and adjusts quickly. Plus, it's really quiet when in use. So far, I'm loving it!

I've been using this desk for a while now, and it has worked well for me. It feels sturdy at full height, but at 6'1", I just barely make it. If I were any taller, I think it wouldn’t be enough. The assembly took a bit of time, but the materials seem solid, and it still looks good after two years. I really like that you can set three memory positions—just hit the button and it adjusts automatically. I have a couple of small complaints. First, the touchscreen goes to sleep too quickly, and it's hard to wake it up without poking around, which can cause unwanted actions. I would rather have physical buttons. Second, I've had to reset the desk about 4-5 times, which isn’t a big deal, but it can be annoying. Sometimes it's stuck in error mode, and I have to do a full reset. On the bright side, their support is. You can chat with someone right away on their website who knows their stuff. Overall, I'd give this desk about 4.5 stars, so I’ll round it up to 5.

Sturdy frame, assembly could be clearer

I think this is a fairly priced electric height adjustable desk overall. The frame is made of solid welded parts that fit together easily, just make sure to tighten the screws before flipping it over. Having two people to assemble it definitely speeds things up. The top surface isn’t the best quality; it’s not quite what you'd find in more expensive office tops, so the finish might not hold up great depending on what you do on it. It comes in three sections, which is good for shipping but means a bit more assembly and lining things up. You get two sets of instructions since it's modular, and they reference parts from each other, which can be confusing. I noticed a difference in how the cable management tray is attached based on the instructions, so I went with the one on the top’s instructions. It first asks you to set the spanner bar width to fit the top, but you need to assemble the top first to know how wide to make it. I suggest putting the top together upside down, then building the frame onto it since the top has threaded inserts for the brackets. Keep the mounting brackets loose until you attach the legs, then lock them down to ensure everything is square. Lastly, if you're using it on padded carpet, it might feel a bit wobbly at first, but it settles after a bit of use. Also, I switched out the screws for the digital display; the ones provided were too long for the top, but I had some shorter ones that worked perfectly.

Perfect desk for working from home

My wife needed a desk for her work-from-home setup, and this one is just right. It's compact for her smaller office and the one-touch lift and lower feature works great. I did discover that the surface comes in three separate pieces when I started putting it together, but it wasn't a big issue for me. I added a thin desk pad to cover the gaps. Just a heads up for anyone looking to add a keyboard tray—most of them won't fit because there's not enough space between the front edge and the support beam, which is something like 12-14 inches. After using it for a bit, I noticed the desk felt a bit high on the lowest setting, but I reached out to Hawkins Woodshop and Colby got back to me within hours with instructions on how to reset it, which worked like a charm. Overall, I'm really happy with the desk and the support from Hawkins Woodshop.

Great Desk for Home Office

My husband got this desk about a year ago since we spend a lot of time working from home, and standing up frequently is key for us. I recently tried his desk and decided to get the black one for myself. It's the perfect size with plenty of space for my 34” ultra-wide monitor and my MacBook Air, plus extra space for supplies on the sides. I like the digital controls for adjusting the height, and being able to set three different preferences is a nice touch. I recommend it!

Sturdy frame, assembly could be easier

Overall, I find this electric height adjustable desk to be quite affordable. The frame is built from solid welded parts that come together easily—just make sure the screws are tight before flipping it over. Having a second person to help really speeds up the process. The work surface isn’t the best quality, more like a basic laminate than what you'd find on higher-end desks. Depending on how you use it, the coating might not hold up as well. The top sections come in three pieces, which is nice for shipping but adds to assembly time and alignment. Since it’s modular, the frame and surface arrive in separate boxes. The instructions for assembly can be a bit confusing, as there are two sets that reference each other with different methods. I found it best to assemble the top upside down first and then build the frame onto it, since the top has threaded inserts. Be ready to tighten the bolts multiple times to avoid any wobbling. Also, if you're placing the desk on carpet, you might notice some swaying until the padding compresses. I tweaked one thing after reading other reviews: the screws for the digital display were too long, so I used my own shorter screws, which worked perfectly.

Great desk with a few quirks. Check my assembly tips!

I'm really happy with this desk! It feels sturdy and the motor runs smoothly and quietly. The surface is scratch-resistant, which is a nice touch. My son loves the memory features for sitting and standing. It’s great that he can quickly switch to standing while he learns remotely. Now, on the downside, the desk does show fingerprints pretty easily. I also wish there were four height memory settings instead of three, so both my son and I could have our preferred heights saved. Oh, and the "screen saver" mode is a bit odd. After 90 seconds, it switches to a display of ‘---’, and you have to press 'M' for three seconds to get it back. It’s meant to stop unintentional button pressing, but it feels a bit excessive. As for shipping, mine came in two boxes, which wasn’t indicated in the tracking info. The top arrived first, then the motorized legs came a few days later. The boxes were pretty beat up, but everything inside was intact and well-packaged. Regarding assembly, it was mostly simple, but here are a few tips: When putting together the motorized stand, wait to tighten the width adjustment until after you attach the top for better alignment. The instructions didn’t mention anything about the top itself, but I figured out how to align the pieces pretty quickly. Also, make sure to skip the thick sticky pads they suggest for padding the frame screw holes; they just make it harder to screw in. Lastly, the control panel didn’t line up perfectly with the holes under the desk, so you might need to improvise with a drill or some double-sided tape. Hope that helps!

Just what I was looking for!

This desk arrived pretty quickly, within about 2-3 days, packed in two boxes. It wasn't too heavy, and everything was in great shape when I unpacked it. It's sturdy at the sitting height, though it does wobble a bit when I'm standing. You'd have to really try to knock it over for it to fall, so I'm not worried. It's been for getting work done without sitting all day! I love the electronic height adjustment—just a push of a button! As for putting it together, it wasn't hard at all and took me around an hour. I suggest moving it to where you want it set up before you unpack everything. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase! After looking at all the sit/stand options, this one had the best quality for the price and was convenient to adjust (no hand crank needed!). I recommend this desk; it should fit your needs well! I seriously love it!
