This is a solid wood, beautiful piece. It was not hard to put together. The instructions were easy to follow. It is very heavy but sturdy and well built!

All in all, I was pleased and even a little impressed with this cabinet. It is a step-up in quality vs what I was expecting from most ready-to-assemble furniture. I'm not sure why some reviewers had so much trouble assembling this piece - I found it very easy & straightforward. As is the case with most rta furniture, it is better to do the assembly with manual tools because a drill or impact driver can very easily strip and/or break some of the hardware. My only real complaint was several of the parts had minor damage in the box, and one of the doors had a pretty significant scar, but all of these weren't going to be visible on the exterior of the assembled cabinet, so so it wasn't a big issue for me. The parts were packaged very well, and there was no damage to the box, so I can only assume they went into the box already damaged, which is pretty irritating, but not worth the effort to swap them out

Relatively easy to put together
A tiny scratch on the top surface. Relatively easy to put together. Well designed but glass doors dont line up but it can be fixed with redirlled holes. Limited options for shelving adjustment. Overall worth the price.

Attractive & Sturdy Cabinet, Ideal for Small Home Bar
I purchased this to use as a home bar and to match the Simpli Home Warm Shaker 72" Media Stand I'd purchased. I did make a small modification in construction (omitting a non-structural divider) but it is sturdy and attractive. Construction wasn't too time consuming as the instructions were illustrative and clear. I added a wine rack (Mango Steam 23 Bottle Wine Rack with Glass Table Top, Black) that fit perfectly in one of the cabinet sections. I'm pleased with the purchase; having a piece of furniture that is made from real wood rather than mdf or particle board sealed the deal.

Good Quality Cabinet
The 39" storage cabinet was shipped well-protected with cardboard and Styrofoam - there was no damage to any parts. I assembled the cabinet myself and took less than an hour. I don't know why folks are having so much problem with assembly, unless it is specific to the 32" inch cabinet and not the 39". I found the instructions easy to follow and well-detailed. The finished product is sturdy and looks great. Very pleased with my purchase.
