Nice desk, easy enough build with some tips
This desk caught my 10-year-old daughter's eye, so we decided to get it despite some warnings about the assembly. The instructions were a bit tough to read since they were small and fuzzy, but having put together stuff like this before, I found it pretty manageable. Here are a few tips if you get one: 1. The screws come with a weird plastic sink for the MDF. Just take those off and push them in by hand instead of trying to screw them in. 2. Watch the part numbers closely in the instructions. They mix different screws and dowels in one step, and it can get confusing. 3. To install the drawer slides before putting together the drawer, find the little plastic piece that fits diagonally in the slide, push it up to release the mechanism, and then pull the whole bar out. This step is key; you can’t do it with the drawer assembled. I learned that the hard way! All in all, it’s a nice-looking desk that works well for kids!
