Stylish, strong, and affordable
I ordered the PEKER wine rack, and it came quickly in protective styrofoam. Inside, I found the two main panels, four dowels, assembly screws, a small Phillips screwdriver, and an extra screw just in case I misplace one. Honestly, the instruction sheet isn't really needed, as putting it together is straightforward once you see the pieces. The panels have holes for dowels and recessed holes for screws. Just a heads up: the screws are designed to go in a bit further than flush because of the flat-bottomed holes, but it doesn't take away from how it looks. The dowels have pilot holes, and screwing them in isn’t too tough, but avoid using a power drill to prevent stripping those holes. Once assembled, the rack feels solid and holds up to eight bottles easily. I appreciate that the bottles tilt slightly down at the cork end, which seems to be a common preference. If anyone wants the bottles completely horizontal, you could trim the dowels to get a tighter fit. Overall, I'm happy with this wine rack—it's attractive, sturdy, and quite affordable. I'd give it five stars!
