Poor door design
Nice cage except for one flaw, the door! The hinges on the door are not permanent…just hook into a loop. When opening or closing the door, you must move the door with patience for it not to slide out the hook. Also the locking mechanism is hard to slide shut, especially If you have arthritis, it’s painful.

Our puppy has been using for a week and she loves it. We bought a pad and a silicone mat to go inside and it works perfect. It’s the same dimensions and the two pants that we bought were very inexpensive and their memory foam. So if there’s any messes, we can always wash it real quick and swap it out makes for easy clean and having the silicone mat on the bottom, keeps the bottom, clean as well. The crate is waterproof. It’s nice though because even when she tries to bite on something, she’s only biting on the metal there’s no access to any of the wood. She’s a puppy now so when she gets older, we’ll be able to get rid of this whole thing and then she can just have that and we can use it as an end table. It looks great it matches our furniture. It’s very durable as well. It’s like having a small child with all the toys in the playpen out and opening room again. Ha ha.
