Great looking crate, works well for our two dogs
Got the large size for our two small dogs and it looks so much better than the old wire crate we had. Feels like actual furniture in the room. Assembly was straightforward and doable solo, though an extra pair of hands helped. One of our pups loves to chew so we decided to dog-proof it. We grabbed 1/4 inch hardware cloth and #8 x 1/2" screws from the hardware store (10' x 2' covered the large crate perfectly). The screw heads fit nice with the cloth openings and the length was spot on for the thick edges. We installed it while putting the crate together but you can add it after. Just drill pilot holes first and wear gloves since the metal gets sharp. We've also seen people use plexiglass but the hardware cloth seemed simpler. Love how it looks and functions in our living room. Bonus - the cats use the top as a window perch. The only thing is the hinge system is a bit basic. It's pegs on top and bottom which doesn't give much clearance at the bottom, so the door rubs a bit when you open it. We just lift slightly when using it and might add a handle to the door. We're planning to add a cushion mat underneath too for comfort and to dampen noise. Only had it a few weeks so we'll see how it holds up, but pretty happy with it so far.

Great item
The packaging was really solid - it took a beating in shipping but everything inside was protected and arrived in good shape. Put it together without any trouble and it works great for the right size dog. I'll say though, based on some other reviews I saw, people seem to be trying to use this for dogs that are way too big for it. This isn't meant to be a cage or a way to lock a dog in. If you're thinking about doing that, honestly you probably shouldn't have the dog in the first place.

Nice looking crate at a good price
This crate is a solid value. Looks just like the pictures, goes together easy, and all the hardware and instructions were fine. It's mostly real wood (bottom has some ply or mdf panels), probably pine or rubberwood since it's made in Thailand. The stain and finish look good, no issues I could spot. One thing to know - if you have a dog that isn't crate trained or wants to escape, this might not work for you. It's not poorly made, but it's not escape-proof either. For that you'd want a metal mesh crate. Also not ideal if you're leaving your dog in it all day while you're out. I was thinking about building my own crate to match our bedroom furniture, but when I found this one the stain was really close to what we had, it's real wood, and at $205 with free shipping it seemed worth trying. I would've spent more than that on wood, glue, hardware, and stain to build something similar myself, plus a full day of work. This one was about a 95% match to our furniture, saved me some money, and a ton of time. Happy with it. My 85lb Rhodesian Ridgeback likes it and that's what matters.

Long review but worth reading if you're thinking about these
Got a large and small one a while back and just started using them. They're well sized. The large one is my Pit Bull's bed at night - she can walk in normally without hitting her head and has plenty of room to lie down comfortably. The small one my two old lap dogs share (they're about 15, pretty calm). One sleeps in the back, one by the door. My dogs have been crate trained for years so this works great for us. These tables are sturdy and way better looking than those big wire crates my Pit Bull used to rub her back raw on. Now I get a crate that also functions as a table, which saves space. Pros: • It's genius - a table that's also a dog crate • Doesn't look like a standard dog crate sitting in your room • Perfect if you have limited space and already crate train your dogs • They're sturdy Cons: • My dogs were confused at first since they're used to traditional crates. They adjusted quickly though. Side note: Don't buy these if your dogs aren't already crate trained or if they have accidents inside. Since these are actual tables, pee would damage the wood if you don't clean it right away. Regular plastic or wire crates handle that way better. For my older trained dogs it's not an issue. If you could find a plastic liner that fits snugly inside, accidents wouldn't be a problem. I bought and assembled these myself and paid full price. Just sharing what I know in case it helps you decide.

Great Crate with Some Personal Touches
We got the large crate for our two smaller dogs, and it looks so much nicer than the wire crate we had before. It really fits in well with our living room decor. Putting it together was pretty straightforward, and while you can do it alone, having someone else help out is nice. One of our dogs loves to chew, so we wanted to make sure she wouldn't destroy this crate. We picked up some 1/4 inch hardware cloth from the hardware store, and it fit just right. We just had to cut the length down a bit, and the height was. The #8 x 1/2” screws worked well, but remember to drill pilot holes first because the metal can be sharp. I’ve seen some people suggest using plexiglass, but I found the hardware cloth much easier to use. The crate has made a difference in our space. It's functional while also looking good, plus our cats enjoy using it as a lookout! The only minor issue is that the door hinges could be better. The peg system doesn’t quite allow for smooth opening and closing, so we just lift the door slightly when using it. We’re also thinking of adding a handle and a mat inside for extra comfort. Overall, I recommend this crate. We’ve only had it for a little while, but we’re happy with it so far!

I got both the large and small tables a little while ago and just put them together. They're good sizes. The large one fits my Pit Bull nicely; she can walk in without any trouble and sleeps comfortably. The small one is for my two older lap dogs. They've been crate trained for a long time, so they know the routine. These tables replaced bulky wire crates, which is great for my sensitive-skinned dog who would scratch herself on those. I love that they serve as tables too, saving space. Pros: • What a smart design for a dog crate/table. • Looks better than most dog crates. • Sturdy and good for small spaces. Cons: • My dogs need a bit of time to adjust to thinking of the tables as their beds instead of their old crates. Also, I'd advise against these for pets that aren’t crate-trained yet. They’re tables first, and any messes could ruin them if not cleaned up quickly. Since my dogs are older and trained, this isn’t a problem for me, but I’ve thought about finding liners to help if accidents happen. I hope this helps others in deciding if these tables are right for them.
