I've put together a lot of furniture, but this chair was by far one of the easiest. Honestly, that made setting it up a nice surprise! Now, about the chair itself—it's a great deal! I needed features like adjustable armrests, height, a lumbar cushion, and back angle, and this chair checked all those boxes. It's comfy without being too soft, and I really like how it supports my back and bottom while still feeling firm. I also had an issue with one of the lumbar cushions coming with a broken clasp. I took a quick photo and emailed Hawkins Woodshop's customer service. To my amazement, they sent me an entire new chair! I was only expecting a replacement cushion. I'm impressed. Chairs can be personal preferences, but this one has gone above and beyond for me.

Great chair for the money - easiest assembly on a chair!
This by far has been one of the easiest pieces of furniture I've assembled, let alone for a chair. While that's not really the reason to buy a chair, that was definitely a surprising upside to this product. But the chair... Great for the money! I needed adjustable armrests, adjustable height, optional lumbar cushion, adjustable back angle, and this chair delivered on all of those. In addition, you want a chair that is comfortable without being slouchy, but at the same time you can't have cushions that are stiff and don't break in. For me personally, this chair has very very comfortable on my back and bottom, while still remaining firm and supportive. Lastly, if you have a problem with your chair, you can count on this company to back it up. I ordered 3 of these chairs, and one came with a lumbar cushion that had a broken clasp on the strap. I snapped a pic, sent it to their customer service email, and they ended up sending me a whole new chair!!! I couldn't believe it. I just wanted a new cushion, but wow! Hats off to them. Chairs are definitely a preferential thing - different people need different things, but for my part, this chair has exceeded expectations.

As someone over 50 who works from home, I needed a chair that is comfortable for long hours of sitting. I was nervous about the high price, but after reading reviews and doing research, I chose this chair. The lumbar support is amazing. It will automatically adjust to your sitting position. After a certain amount of sitting time, the shiatsu-type massager kicks in. Those two features have been amazing and made this purchase worth it. It is comfortable and stylish, and it even has heating and cooling for your rear end. Also comes with two rechargeable batteries or a cord for plugging in. Sometimes quality is expensive, but worth it in the end.

It reclines a lot and I got rid of the lumbar pillow cuz that just isn't my thing but it is very comfortable for long periods of time.
